Description:
Insulation displacement connector for insulated communication cable conductor joints.

Application:
Any combination of 2 or 3 wires from 0,4 to 0,91 mm. diameter with a maximum diameter measured over the insulation of 2,10mm.

M-10B and M-8B Terminal Blocks are used in this configuration. The following types are available: Continuity (Permanently closed), cut off and permanently open.

Terminal Block may be fitted with surge protection devices of several technologies as solid state, gas tubes with heat coils or PTCs.

Accessories like sealing covers, label supports, pairs identifiers, insulator markers, test chords, etc are also available.
Up to 800 pairs in a 2.400 mm (7ft 10 in) high structures are possible.

The technical performances of this measurement tool that works in relation with a battery powered DOS PC are oriented towards European Mains supply characteristics: 200 VAC - 50 Hz. The LINALYZER electronic circuitry makes 100 measurements per cycle (5000 measurements per second) about Mains voltage and current. Information is accurately time stamped. All significant energy fluctuations such as drops, breaks and spikes amplitude and duration as well as eventual presence of high frequency noise reaching a perturbant level are registered.

The LINALYZER control software is very user friendly. Communication is actually performed in English, French, Dutch, German, and Spanish. The information sent via the serial port of the PC is displayed and collected in a spreadsheet compatible format. Measured data is analysed and significant results are interpreted in practically oriented jargon free corrective suggestions. Competent users can later make use of any popular spreadsheet program to list measured values, select elements of interest and perform more in depth analysis including graphics.

Paranoia In line tape encryption unit

The Paranoia is a hardware data encryption unit designed to encrypt / decrypt data on the fly between a host system and a high speed SCSI tape drive. The unit is designed to provide a high level of data security for tape data in vaulted storage or when it a shared tape silo application. It is designed for use in an unattended backup environment. Where large amounts of data need to be physically transferred between sites two Paranoia units are used to unsure the data security whilst the tapes are in transit.

PROFESSIONAL QUALITY AUDIO
The C400xr and C310xr digital audio codecs, have been designed and manufactured by Systembase to deliver unparalleled performance for professional, real-time audio applications. Both models incorporate the fast apt X100 Sub Band ADPCM compression system with a coding delay of only 3.8ms.

Additional design enhancements based upon the use of a 20 bit conversion process, have extended the audio bandwidth by almost 900Hz, resulting in a much richer natural sound.

REAL-TIME BI-DIRECTIONAL OPERATION
Systembase codecs incorporate both an encoder and a decoder, to provide a real-time, full duplex audio circuit. The short coding delay of 3.8ms at 32KHz sampling rate, makes them suitable for bi-directional applications such as outside broadcasts (OB’s), studio to transmitter links (STL’s) and remote voice-overs. In addition, the integral ISDN inverse multiplexer, used to synchronise up to four ISDN B Channels, introduces a delay of just 0.5ms.

CASCADE AND TANDEM CODING
Systembase codecs allow cascade or tandem coding of audio with minimal degradation in quality. This feature is essential when contributing to Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) radio or television stations using MPEG technology. In both cases, the use of psycho-acoustic compression, limits the number of times the audio signal can be encoded and decoded with a similar type of algorithm, before audible artefacts occur. This problem is overcome by Systembase codecs, which introduce a minimal I.7dBm of quantisation noise following each encode/decode cycle.

INTELLIGENT FEATURES
In the event of an ISDN call failing, the codecs will automatically drop down to provide the next best available service with the remaining connected calls. The user can configure the codecs to prioritise between bandwidth or stereo image. When operating in Mono, they have the capability of monoising the left and right input audio channels, and provide a pseudo stereo service to both the left and right outputs. In Dial-on-Audio, Trigger Dial or ISDN Backup modes, the codecs will automatically re-dial the ISDN lines if a call fails or disconnects.

REMOTE MANAGEMENT
Remote management facility is provided as standard, and enables full remote control and re-configuration via a computer. Multiple units can easily be linked together using a simple daisy-chain topology, and controlled centrally from a single computer. There are no limitations on the number of units that may be connected together. A codec unit at a remote or unattended site can readily be controlled by using standard analogue modems.
